Mengenal Ruang dan Bentuk - Knowing Space and Shape

Assalamu’alaikum.

Hello! How are you?     

     Sekarang kita bahas hal yang sangat sederhana, yaitu ruang dan bentuk. Menggambar ruang dan bentuk pun ada tekniknya. Teknik itu sangat penting untuk gambar untuk bangunan,  pemandangan dan doodle. Ruang dan bentuk terdiri dari beberapa garis dan titik.

     Now we explain about the simple thing; very simple thing; space and shape. Drawing space and shape also has technique. It is so important for drawing building, landscape and doodle. Space and shape consist of lines and dots.

1. Ruang - Space

     Kita tahu bahwa manusia adalah mahluk yang hidup dalam beberapa ruang, seperti ruang angkasa penuh bintang, rumah, di luar rumah, di disa penuh dengan ilalang atau pun kota penuh debunya. Kalian harus tahu bahwa ada tiga dimensi dalam ruang. Berdasarkan buku lama yang saya telah baca berjudul “Teknik Menggambar Dekor dalam Gambar Interior,” yaitu:

     We know that human is creature who lives in the space like the outer space that is full of stars, house, the outside of door, the country that is full of coarse grass or even the city that is full of dust. You have to know that there are three dimensions of space. According to the old book that I have read entitled “Teknik Menggambar Dekor dalam Gambar Interior,” are:

a.   dimensi panjang, length dimension,

b.  dimensi lebar, width dimension,

c.   dimensi tinggi. High dimension.

     Disamping itu, ada pula tiga elemen dasar ruang yang harus kita ketahui , yaitu:

     Besides, there are also three based-elements of shape that we have to know, are:

a. fungsinya, the function,

b. kontruksinya, the contruction,

c. bentuknya. the shape.

     Setelah kita ketahui tentang dimensi dan elemen dasar ruang. Lalu seseorang bertanya “apakah mata kita dapat menentukan ruang dalam suatu gambar?”  Ya tentu. Mata kita juga bisa menentukan apakah suatu gambar dikatakan tinggi, panjang, sempit, rendah, menekan, mengangkat, menarik atau menyenangkan.

    After we know about shape dimensions and based-element of shape. Then, some people ask me “can our eyes decide the space in a picture?” Yes certainly. Our eyes also can decide is that picture called high, length, narrow, low, stress, lift up, pull or pleasure.

     Menurut mata kita, kita sangat mengenal:

     According to our eyes, we know:

1. ruang tanpa batas: luar angkasa, langit dan laut;

     unlimited space: space, sky and sea;

2. ruang dengan batas lebar atau luas: desa, padang rumput, jalan dan kota;

    width-limit space: country, meadow or savanah, the way and the city;

3. ruang dengan batas sempit:  gua, terowongan dan ruangan.

    narrow-limit space: cave, tunnel and rooms.

2. Bentuk - Shape

     Bentuk juga hal penting dalam gambar. Di dalam gambar interior desain rumah atau ruangan, ini merupakan hal utama yang harus diperhatikan. Bentuk dalam sebuah gambar bisa berati bentuk terisi penuh, bentuk terisi setengah ataupun bentuk terbuka. Seperti ruang, bentuk juga dibentuk oleh tiga dimensi, yaitu :

     Shape is the important thing in drawing. In the interior designing, it is the main thing that should be attention. Shape(s) in a picture can mean fulfill shape, half-fill shape or open shape. It is just like like the space, shape is also created from three dimensions. These are:

a.   dimensi panjang, length dimension,

b.  dimensi lebar, width dimension,

c.   dimensi tinggi. High dimension.

Kemudian dibagi menjadi dua dasar bentuk, yaitu:

Then, it is devided to two-based shape, are:

a.  bentuk statis, static shape.

b.  bentuk dinamis. dynamic shape.

     Perhatikan gambar penuh bentuk di bawah ini.

     Kita kenal bentuk dari:

     We know shape from:

1. pelebaran dan proporsinya, expansion and proportion,

2. batas batas bentuk, boundaries,

3. bahan, permukaan dan warna, material, surface and colour,

4. hubungan antar bentuk, shape-relationship,

5. arahnya. direction.

     Tidak ada hasil tanpa usaha.      
     There is not the result without doing.
